| Divorce is a legal process ending the contract of marriage. However, it is very important to us that you understand at the start of your case that a Divorce will not deal with the division of your house, assets, income, pensions etc.
To deal with your matrimonial finances you will need to instruct us to represent you in this regard. As solicitors, we call this process Ancillary Relief. Work done with regard to Ancillary Relief matters is normally charged at an hourly rate. However in order to simplify the charging process for you and to make matters as cost effective as possible we have formulated an online package for those people who, either have no assets to be divided or have reached an agreement (either between themselves or at mediation) as to how their assets are to be divided. |

Legal advice and support by telephone, letter or email. |

The process of voluntary disclosure by way of exchanging documentary evidence in letter form. |

Drafting Consent Order and Statement of Information |

Court fee for filing the Consent Order at court once an agreement is reached. |

Telephone calls, emails and letters to/from you, your spouses' solicitor and the court. |

Once the Consent Order is approved by the court, then implementation of the Order is included, limited to pension sharing, assignment of life policies and advising you on how to implement any other order. |

This package is limited in time to 6 months from date of instruction, after which time you will be expected to instruct us to issue court proceedings in which case you will either need to proceed via our Standard Ancillary Relief Package or alternatively you can elect be charged at our hourly rate. |

Whats not included:- |

Face to face meetings (appointments and court attendances) are not included in our online packages. If you require a personal appointment with one of our lawyers please contact us to arrange an appointment using the link on the homepage. You will need to choose the standard Ancillary Relief Package rather than one of our online services |

This online service is a voluntarily process to support parties in reaching a voluntary agreement. The issue of court proceedings is not included and should it become clear that an agreement is not going to be possible you will need to make an application to court for Ancillary Relief in which case you will need to choose the standard Ancillary Relief Package rather than one of our online services. |

Conveyancing. This is the legal process of buying, selling, remortgaging or transferring property. We are able to undertake property transactions for you and should such a need arise we shall refer you to our conveyancing department. There will be an additional charge for the use of our conveyancing services. |
